Mexico
Our friendly neighbors to the south are home to many great tourist destinations. Getting married in Mexico requires a little paperwork but it is quite simple. The ease of getting there, the beautiful beaches, resorts and cultural sites make Mexico a favorite Honeymoon destination. Both sides of the country the Caribbean and the Pacific are home to many favorite areas.
The US Virgin Islands
St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John, the US Virgin Islands are only a very few islands in the Caribbean where Americans can travel without a passport. It is suggested however that you do carry your passport just in case you would like to visit a nearby island that is not a part of the USA. Fishing charters abound, fun in the sun and shopping are just a few activities that are enjoyed in these islands. Since they belong to the US you can freely use your US dollars and getting married on these islands doesn’t require extra paperwork that can be expected on other Caribbean islands.
Bahamas
The islands of the Bahamas is an archipelago that runs from not far off the south Florida coast to the Turks and Caicos Islands. The famous straw market in downtown Nassau and the duty free shops that cruise passengers frequent make this shopping mecca one that almost everyone
enjoys. Watch the police in the middle of the street direct traffic while the taxis honk their way through the town taking visitors from resorts to shopping and sightseeing. The warm blue water that surrounds the islands is well-known for great snorkeling. Lively bright colored fish darting around coral make for a fun afternoon in the water. Lovely candle lit dinners on the beach make for a romantic evening at one of many resorts. Want to give lady luck a try? There are casinos just waiting for you in the Islands known as The Bahamas.
Jamaica
“You Jamaica Me Crazy!” “No Problem Mon” “Every ting’s Irie”. All those sayings are famous on the friendly Caribbean island known as Jamaica. You want it – you got it! Beaches, culture, shopping, fishing, golf, ghost tours, great jerk, seafood, friendly people, it’s all here in Jamaica. From the moment your plane touches down at Sangster International Airport until you leave again the friendly people of Jamaica want you to have a wonderful time.
Playful is another term that Jamaicans live by. They enjoy their lives every day. Everyone is their cousin and they go about their business singing the day long, happy to be living on one of the most popular islands in the Caribbean.

Domestic Honeymoons
New York City – See the sites, take a horse and buggy ride in Central Park, see a Broadway show, take a dinner cruise on the River, climb up inside Lady Liberty’s crown, and stroll along 5th Avenue window shopping the great stores. Have Sunday brunch at the Waldorf.
Washington DC – Our country’s hotspot for viewing the government sites. Take tours of the historical buildings, spend days in the Smithsonian museums, and tour the spy museum, lunch in famous places where you might spot a senator or congressman. Stroll along the banks of the Potomac, visit the grave of the Unknown Soldier or John Kennedy’s grave.
Florida – Beaches beaches beaches! Amusement parks galore! Nightlife that spills into the sunrise on South Beach, shop in the most famous shops in the South Beach area, go shelling on the Gulf coast, watch the sunset from Mallory Square in Key West, tour Ernest Hemmingway’s home, see the Florida White House, climb the lighthouse, eat a Cheeseburger in Paradise! Bone fish in the shallow waters of the keys, stay in a cottage beachside and take a stroll on the keys, drive the alligator alley, rub famous elbows at the Boca Raton Resort.
Colorado – Enjoy a Rocky mountain high up in the Rockies at any of many resorts both in summer and winter. Go fly fishing in one of many rivers, hike or mountain bike, go 4-wheeling, white water raft the Colorado, stay in the famous Stanley Hotel and visit room 217 where The Shining began!
Arizona – Many golfers love Arizona for the sunshine that almost always envelopes the countryside. Ride a horse, take your chances at any of the many casinos, hike, bike or 4-wheel the mountains.
California – From Mickey Mouse to Marilyn Monroe, anything you can imagine will probably happen in California. Wine you say? Perfect weather in many valleys give the wine country that excellent climate to produce the grapes that make California wines rival any of those in France or almost anywhere for that matter. Visit some celebs homes, shop Rodeo drive, take a train up the coast to Carmel and walk the charming streets and stop for a bite at one of many bistros along the street.
Las Vegas – What can we say? Vegas is, well “whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!”

Hawaii
Aloha!
While Hawaii is a domestic Honeymoon destination it really deserves a page all its own. There are so many different things to do and see in Hawaii that it difficult to know where to begin. Hawaii is truly “America’s Paradise”, home of the Aloha spirit it is culturally unique and exotic at the same time. Whether it’s a wedding or a Honeymoon Hawaii is where paradise calls home.
Kauai
Called “The Garden Isle” Kauai is home to the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” the Waimea Canyon as well as the Fern Grotto where Elvis sang the famous “Hawaiian Wedding Song” in the movie Blue Hawaii. Spectacular beaches, the mists of Hanalei Bay, and the breathtaking sites from the Na Pali coastline make this island one that adventure lovers will find exciting.
Oahu
The vibrant center of the commerce of the islands is located on the island called “The Gathering Place”. Besides the city of Honolulu there are beautiful beaches and parks, great water sports including the north shore famous for surfing and don’t forget America’s great military history. Pearl Harbor is a must see for any American visiting this paradise. The island of Oahu is the perfect place to experience Hawaii’s great diversity.
Maui
“The Valley Isle” of Maui was named “the Best Island in the World” time and again. Whatever you want to do Maui has it. Take the drive to Heavenly Hana, be among the first in the islands to enjoy a sunrise from the Haleakala Crater. In winter thousands of beautiful majestic humpback whales use the warm waters off Maui as their breeding grounds. Golfers? Maui’s famous golf courses are played by pros and regular people alike and are said to be some of the finest courses in the world.
Hawaii
“The Big Island” as it is known is over twice the size of all the other islands combined and is the newest in the chain of volcanic islands known as Hawaii. It is still growing with the world’s most active volcano. World class sporting such as the Iron Man Triathlon and fishing makes Hawaii “the” spot for almost every kind of activity. Lava fields, lush valleys and rich history – The Big Island has it all.
Molokai and Lanai
Molokai – “The Friendly Isle” and Lanai – “The Pineapple Isle” are known as Maui’s outer islands. Unspoiled – Natural – Untouched – Secluded – those are words that come to mind to describe the quiet islands that are uniquely “Hawaiian by Nature”. Mahalo!
